Friday the 13th did turn out to be a lucky day after all for a ticket holder of the Mega Millions multi-state lottery game and won one of the biggest jackpots in the game’s history.
Someone did hit the jackpot by matching all five regular numbers and the Mega Ball, which were 30-43-45-46-61 and a mega ball of 14. The winning ticket, according to Mega Millions officials, was sold in Maine. That person won a $1.35 billion jackpot.
While the big prize was taken, there are multiple winners of some of the smaller prizes, including 14 people who picked up a million dollars by matching all five white balls. That includes one person in Pennsylvania.
The jackpot now resets for Tuesday’s drawing to $20 million. For those looking for another big jackpot, tonight’s Powerball is up to an estimated $404 million prize.
