Lottery officials say there was no winner in the Mega Millions multi-state lottery game.
The winning numbers drawn last night were 25-29-33-41-44 with the megaball of 18. The jackpot will now roll over to $940 million annuity, with a cash option of $483.5 million available as well for next Friday’s drawing.
The last time the jackpot got close to a billion dollars was five months ago, when a $1.337 billion prize was awarded to someone in Illinois. In the over 20-year history of the game, there has been only three larger jackpot prizes awarded in history. The most that was ever won was on one ticket sold in South Carolina in 2018.
By the way, the odds of hitting the jackpot are one in over 302 million.
