After seeing temperatures below zero, wind chills near -20 and ice and snow falling seven days ago, our area is now seeing temperatures and conditions that belong more during the spring months.
Temperatures over the next few days are expected to go into the 50’s today and tomorrow, with it getting to the 60’s on Saturday. Accuweather meteorologist Joe Lundberg said that the warm weather is due to the breakdown of the system that brought the cold air to our area.
While temperatures are expected to get into the 40’s to kick off the New Year, temperatures are not expected to get into the low levels that came through last week.
