PENNSYLVANIA GAS TAX TO INCREASE

Beginning in the new year, Pennsylvania’s gas tax will increase from just under 58 cents per gallon to 61 cents.

WTAJ News reports a provision under a transportation law signed by then-Gov. Tom Corbett in 2013 will trigger the increase because the wholesale price of gas surpassed $2.99. The tax is for wholesalers, however, it could make its way to Pennsylvania drivers at the pump.

I love it! It will help bring more economic activity to Indiana County!
I love it! It's much needed for the safety of folks to link the trails and access both sides of that busy highway.
I love it for both of the reasons listed above (as long as they maintain it.)
It's not going to be the economic boon they're saying it will be.
Not enough people will use it to have an effect on safety.
It will not be maintained and will fall into disuse rather quickly.
