UPDATE: A third vehicle crash was reported in Cherryhill Township over the last 24 hours. This crash was reported at 6:48 this morning on Laurel Run Road in Cherry Hill Township. It was a two-vehicle crash that resulted in one of the vehicles catching fire. Both cars are considered a total loss. No injuries were reported in this crash, either.
WHAT WE FIRST REPORTED
Icy conditions on area roads lead to two accidents in Cherry Hill Township on Sunday.
The first vehicle crash was on route 422 East in Cherry Hill Township near the White Township/Cherry Hill Township border. Fire Chief Jody Rainey said that a vehicle went over an embankment in the area. No injuries were reported in the crash at 1:18 p.m.
The second crash was at 2:29 p.m. at a different portion of 422, near the intersection with Chestnut ridge road. In this incident, the driver hit an icy patch of road and collided with a sign, rendering the vehicle on drivable. No injuries were reported in that incident.
Citizen’s ambulance and State Police assisted at the scene of both crashes.
