On Wednesday afternoon, the White township supervisors discussed the proposed dangerous structure ordinance and an energy savings proposal for S&T Bank arena.
The proposed revisions to the dangerous structure ornaments to include swimming pools and other language is still being worked on. The public has had a chance to look at the proposed version of the ordinance, and it is expected to be up for advertisement into weeks.
The supervisors also approved an energy savings audit from Schneider Electric which will focus on the arena at the White Township Recreation Complex. Township recreation director Ryan Shaffer said that energy efficiency has always been a goal for the arena.
The audit will be performed at no cost to the township.
