At a meeting Monday night, the purchase line School board accepted the resignation of its superintendent.
As per his earlier announcement, the final day for superintendent Shawn Ford will be in mid-February. In a related matter, the board hired Templeton advantage LLC to conduct the search for the next superintendent. Ford said that he will help out with the transition process.
Prior to the work session, the board held its reorganization meeting. There were no changes to board leadership. Scott Gearhart remains board president and Sandra Fyock as vice president.
