Indiana Borough Police announce that three people were charged in connection with an incident at the borough parking garage last month.
Officers were dispatched around 11:40 p.m. on October 29th for reports of damage to an exit gate and the theft of a golf cart that was stored there. Surveillance footage showed three suspects stealing the cart and damaging the gate. The cart was located in a parking lot several blocks from the parking garage.
Through community tips, officers were able to identify the three suspects: 23-year-old Jesse Toy of Kittanning, 22-year-old Brock Schrecengost of Kittanning, and 22-year-old Mason Meyer of Indiana.
All three were charged with Theft and Criminal Mischief through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
In a statement, Indiana Borough Police Chief Justic Schawl said he appreciates the help and support from the community that assisted in locating the stolen golf cart and identifying the three suspects.
