First responders stayed busy Thanksgiving Eve as three incidents were reported Wednesday to Indiana County 911.
Iselin/West Lebanon fire crews were summoned to a brush fire in neighboring Armstrong County around 2:16 yesterday afternoon. Coal Run/McIntyre Fire Department was called in for standby detail around 15 minutes later.
Another brush fire was reported to Indiana County 911 around 4:45 p.m., and it sent Plumville Fire Department to Route 954 North in South Mahoning Township. Dayton fire crews were called in to assist 10 minutes later. No further details are available on this call. This marks the 70th brush fire in Indiana County this year.
Then around 6:07 p.m., a vehicle accident was reported along Route 259 in West Wheatfield Township. Bolivar and New Florence fire crews were dispatched, along with Citizens’ Ambulance and state police. No information is available at this time.
