A man from Washington County is charged with retail theft by shoplifting in an incident last Wednesday in White Township. State troopers were called out at 4:17 PM to the Walmart on Oakland Avenue for an active incident of retail theft. When they got there, the suspect, 29-year-old Brad Behanna II of Monongahela failed to obey the commands of state troopers and tried to run away on foot. He was taken into custody as he ran onto Oakland Avenue and impeded the flow of traffic. Police say he took a Polaroid camera valued at close to $100.
A Commodore man was charged with simple assault and harassment for an incident early Friday morning in Green Township. State troopers say that around midnight, a known 40-year-old Commodore man was engaged in a physical domestic dispute with a known 47-year-old woman, causing some visible injuries.
