The White Township Supervisors approved advertising the 2023 proposed budget Wednesday afternoon.
Township residents will see no property taxes or any increases in fees. The projected income comes to $9,939,254 with expected expenditures at $10,508,646. Township manager Chris Anderson talks about how the deficit will be covered.
The budget will be up for final adoption in December.
In other business, the supervisors by a 4-1 vote removed the deer management plan from the agenda. The motion was made by Eugene Gemmell, who said he wanted to start working on the issue again sometime in the middle of next year. The one dissenting vote was Supervisors Chairman George Lenz, who said he wanted to see the issue completely resolved before it was removed.
The next meeting is scheduled for December 7th at 1:00 PM.
