The sizeable amount of snowfall across the county resulted in seven vehicle accidents this afternoon.
The first accident happened at 2 p.m. along Johnsonburg Road in Banks Township. Big Run Fire Department was dispatched for that call along with Citizens’ Ambulance and state police.
The second came less than a half hour later as Armagh and Clyde fire departments responded to Route 403 South in East Wheatfield Township.
Then at 2:52 p.m., Pine Township and Nicktown fire departments responded to the fourth crash along Route Route 553 in Pine Township.
Armagh/East Wheatfield fire crews were dispatched once again around 3:30 to a crash along Route 22 East, also in East Wheatfield Township.
Three other crashes were reported between 3:42 and 3:45 p.m. One was along Route 210 in North Mahoning Township; one was along Route 56 East in Brush Valley Township; and the last was reported along Pickering Run Road in Grant Township.
Initial scanner reports say the crash along Pickering Run Road was a rollover crash with suspected injuries.
Additional details on that crash, along with the six other crashes, are not available at this time.
