The IUP Crimson Hawks host the Shepherd Rams tomorrow afternoon in the PSAC championship game at Miller Stadium.
IUP All-American wide receiver Duane Brown has caught 66 passes this season for 1,045 yards and 16 touchdowns. He’s averaging 116.11 yards receiving per game. But Brown has not practiced this week.

In his first season at IUP, quarterback Mak Sexton has completed 65.31 percent of his passes and thrown 26 touchdown passes with just 7 interceptions. He has a QB rating of 176.42, and is throwing for 265.11 yards per game.
Shepherd quarterback Tyson Bagent is in line to win his second Harlon Hill Triphy as the top player in Division II. The Rams’ offense leads the nation with 522 yards per game and is second in scoring with 45.3 points per game. Bagent is second in the nation in touchdown passes with 32.
Airtime on U92 is at 2:30 on 92.5 FM U92, at the conclusion of the IUP men’s basketball season-opening game against Concorde at Clarion University. That game airs at 12:45, also on U92.
The IUP women’s basketball team opens its season tonight at 7 o’clock at the KCAC against Davis & Elkin. The women, under interim head coach Craig Carey, play Lincoln tomorrow at 7. Slippery Rock plays Lincoln tonight at 5 at the KCAC and Slippery Rock plays Davis & Elkins tomorrow at 5.
