The two candidates running for U.S. Senator Pat Toomey’s seat met for their only debate last night.
Democratic candidate and Lt. Governor John Fetterman and Republican Candidate Dr. Mehmet Oz clashed over issues of the economy, foreign policy and other topics. One of those was abortion and the recent overturning of Roe V. Wade. Oz says that he is pro-life and supports abortions in cases of rape and incest and to protect the life of the mother. He talked about his outlook for abortion following the Supereme Court’s Decision striking down Roe V. Wade.
Fetterman also gave comments on the topic of abortion and Roe V. Wade.
Another topic brought up was fracking, with both saying they supported it in the state. Oz said the facts show that it is safe.
Fetterman also supported fracking.
Election day is November 8th.
