Tomorrow is one of the major fundraising events in the annual Love of Life fundraising campaign, and it will take place in Downtown Indiana and parts of Indiana Borough and White Township.
The Love of Life 5K will be held starting at 9:00 AM tomorrow and will start and finish at 8th and Philadelphia Street. The course will take runners South towards IRMC and Mack Park before going back through the park, the fringe of IUP before heading back to the finish line. The route will be clearly marked with route markers, but there will be some road closures in effect, so if you are headed into Indiana tomorrow, please be careful.
Heather Reed described what this year’s proceeds will be used for.
Those who have already registered can pick up packets at SCG Hobby in Indiana today from 3-6. Those who have yet to register can still do so, and find more information on the run by logging on to www.loveoflife5k.com The cost is $25 for adults and $15 for kids taking part in the 5k. There will also be a 1 mile fun walk for $15. Runners can also do their run virtually, with more information on that found on the website.
