On Tuesday night, the United School Board approved a dual enrollment agreement with a college in Cresson.
The dual enrollment agreement is with Mt. Aloysius College. Superintendent Teresa Young explained the importance of this agreement.
Young added that many students at United take part in dual enrollment programs, and she said that they have been successful.
In other business, the board voted to hire Brianna Cramer-Nagle, Samantha Mooris, Jenny Ressler and Melissa Debnar as instructional aides for the elementary school at a cost of $9.12 an hour, which is the starting wage per the current collective bargaining agreement.
