A garage was razed in a fire early Sunday morning in Homer City Borough.
The fire was reported by Indiana County 911 around 10:05 a.m. at a home along Harrison Street and fire crews from Homer City, Coral-Graceton, Indiana, Black Lick, and Brush Valley responded, along with Citizens’ Ambulance and the County Hazmat team.
Homer City Second Assistant Fire Chief Joe Iezzi Jr. described what he saw at the scene.
Emergency crews were on scene for approximately an hour. Homer City fire officials later confirmed that the fire stemmed from an electrical block. The garage was a total loss, and no other buildings were damaged as a result. Additionally, no injuries were reported.
