Recent paving and roadwork projects were one of the main topics of discussion at the Center Township Supervisors meeting Monday night.
The supervisors announced that the Johnson Road project has wrapped up and was finalized. Details have been sent to the county so the township can receive the money from the Dirt and Gravel grant from the conservation district. The project had the township install 1100 feet of underdrain and about 10 cross-pipes to remediate flooding in the fields near Johnson Road.
Crews are still paving and checking catch basins for debris, and also removing trees after the major storms that rolled through.
In other business, Housholder reminded people that 2022 Evergreen Landfill Permits are still available. He said that this year, the sales of the permit have been going well, and also talked about the advantage of getting the landfill permit.
Permits are available at the township office.
