Indiana borough police have released some reports about drunk and disorderly behavior going on over the past two days.
In the early morning hours of September 29th, police officers arrested Jarrett Parker of Pocono Summit on a charge of public drunkenness after he was found in a highly intoxicated state in the 200 block of South 7th Street. A citation was filed through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
Two women were charged with harassment for an incident on Wednesday evening in the “00” block of North 11th Street. Police say at 6:52 PM, 20-year-old April McKendrick of Indiana and an unidentified 15-year-old girl were fighting in the area. Charges again were filed with Judge Haberl’s office.
Just a few minutes later, police were called to 375 Philadelphia Street for a report of an unresponsive man in the parking lot of Rite Aid Pharmacy. Officers found 38-year-old Frank Gardner was under the influence of drugs to the point that he was a danger to himself. A summary public drunkenness citation was filed against Gardner.
