During an interview on Indiana in the Morning on Monday, Indiana County Chamber of Commerce President Mark Hilliard had an important announcement regarding one of the Chamber’s events.
Hilliard said that the annual meeting will be headlined by a guest speaker, which he revealed to be Pittsburgh Steelers legend and Hall-of-Fame running back Franco Harris.
The inspiration for having Harris as the guest speaker is that it will be close to the 50th anniversary of the “Immaculate Reception”, which Harris made a shoestring catch in the final moments of the 1972 AFC Divisional Playoff Game between the Steelers and Oakland Raiders.
While Harris brings lots of fame from his football background, Hilliard said he will be discussing his background as a business owner.
The annual meeting is scheduled for December 15th. Tickets will be available in early October.
