The Indiana School Board met Monday night and heard concerns from a district parent about some concerns with buses bringing students back home.
Keaton Stantz was representing a group of parents in the district’s East Pike side who are seeing students arriving home later than originally scheduled.
The topic will continue to be discussed at next Monday’s Buildings, Grounds and Transportation Committee meeting.
In other business, the board got to meet the 2022 Fulbright Scholars visiting Indiana School District. This year’s class includes 21 scholars from 14 countries, which is one of the biggest classes of Fulbright Scholars. Mike Reig, who organized the program for the district, talked about why there are more scholars.
The board also approved a partnership agreement with St. Francis University to authorize the administration to facilitate field experiences and student teaching placements where appropriate.
