Family and friends celebrated the legacy of legendary football coach and teacher Jerry Page yesterday as the former home of Laurel Valley football was re-named Jerry Page Field, at the site of the school where he taught and his teams played for decades.
Coach Page passed away on December 22nd of last year. He was also Laurel Valley’s baseball coach for many decades and taught algebra at the former school. The LV Youth Football Association currently plays on the field.
