PLEA AND SENTENCING HEARINGS SET FOR TODAY IN INDIANA COUNTY COURT

Several plea and sentencing hearings are scheduled for today in Indiana County Court.

While many of the hearings are for DUI and drug-related cases, there are other cases on the docket.  One of those cases is for Joshua Haynes of Blairsville.  The 22-year-old man is scheduled to be sentenced today for guilty pleas to charges of accidents involving death or injury, carrying a firearm without a license and a summary vehicle code violation.  This is for an incident on August 7^th of last year.

Another case on the schedule today is for Sir Diamond King of Indiana, who is charged of procuring an weapon while incarcerated.  Court documents say that the charge was connected with an incident on September 24^th of 2021.  He entered the guilty plea on May 16^th of this year.

Christopher Lee Parsons is also scheduled to be in court today for two separate cases.  In one case, he pleaded guilty to a charge of terroistic threats for an incident on October 23^rd of 2020, and a DUI case on February 12^th.
