The Purchase Line School Board will meet tonight as the district continues to prepare for the first day of classes later this month.
Along with the approval of the lists of substitutes for teaching and other positions, the board will also look to approve hiring Dawn Ambrisco as the interim Junior/Senior High principal at a rate of $100 a day. She will act as principal until Gregory Shingle takes the position later this year.
The board will also look at approving resolutions saying that the district will comply with rules and regulations for the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs as issued by the state and federal departments of agriculture and the state department of education. Also up for approval tonight are handbooks for teachers and students, grant applications for mental health and physical safety.
