The rescue call was just one of many made to Indiana County 911 yesterday. A structure fire was reported around 3:54 yesterday morning and it sent Blairsville, Black Lick, Indiana, Coral/Graceton and Homer City fire crews along with Citizens’ Ambulance and the county HAZMAT team to Bentley Drive in Blairsville Borough.
An automatic fire alarm activation was reported around 8:35 a.m. Commodore Fire Department was dispatched for that.
Marion Center fire crews returned to action a little later as a vehicle fire was reported in Conemaugh Township around 4 p.m.
A vehicle accident along Saint Clair Road in West Wheatfield Township rounded out calls for the day around 7:30 p.m. Indiana Fire Association was dispatched for that call.
