Two resolutions are up for approval tonight at the Center Township Supervisors meeting.
According to the proposed agenda for tonight, one resolution will authorize the signing of a cooperation agreement between the township and Indiana County to submit the application and administer the 2022 Community Development Block Grant on behalf of the township. The second resolution will concern the township’s three-year-plan. The resolution will directly deal with community-wide needs priorities for the CDBG entitlement application. Like prior years, the money will be used to work on the Coy Storm Sewer and Street Improvement Project. To be eligible, the township must have a population of over 4000 based on the 2020 census, and on that count, Center Township does qualify with a population of 4,391.
The meeting will start at 6:30 tonight at the Center Township office on Neal Road.
