Starting this evening at 7 o’clock, West Pike Road in White Township will be closed between Wolf Run Drive and Colonial Toyota School Road for replacement of the Claypoole Heights Bridge.
Westbound traffic will be routed south to Route 286, then onto Oakland Avenue, passing Walmart to the Route 422 interchange, then turning turn right onto 422 and to the Philadelphia Street exit. Eastbound traffic will drive in the opposite direction, following 422 to the 286/Oakland Avenue interchange, then left onto Oakland Avenue to the West Pike Road intersection near Eat-n-Park , and finally left onto West Pike Road.
The goal is to open the new bridge next Sunday, July 31st, at 7 PM. The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of August.
