The Board of Governors of the State System of Higher Education will hold its quarterly meeting today. The agenda includes a number of board policies, discussion of the formula by which capital improvement projects are approved, and the specific allocations to individual universities for the new fiscal year.
IUP is slated to receive an increase of just over $3 million, to $56,895,233 out of a total System allocation of almost $546.5 million. If approved by the Board, IUP would also receive more than $12.2 million in Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds.
The Board will also consider a number of side letters dealing with administration, faculty, coaches and collective bargaining units at the consolidated universities.
Finally, the agenda calls for the election of a new slate of Board officers for the year.
