Gas prices across the nation and the state continue to go down.
Triple-A reports that the national gas price average went down two cents over the last 24 hours to $4.44 a gallon. That’s also a drop of 26 cents over the last week and fifty-two cents over the last month. Pennsylvania’s average this morning is $4.62 a gallon this morning, a drop of nearly two cents over the last 24 hours, eleven cents over the last week and 39 cents from last month.
Indiana County’s average is once again the lowest in the region at $4.57 a gallon. The next highest is Clearfield at $4.60. After that, Cambria and Jefferson Counties tied at $4.63 a gallon, Westmoreland County is at $4.68 a gallon, then Armstrong County with the highest in the region at $4.75 a gallon.
The lowest county-wide average is on the eastern side of the state Carbon County at $4.42 a gallon. Forest County’s average is the highest in the state at $4.75 a gallon.
In Indiana, Homer City, Clymer and Blairsville, gas prices are at $4.59 a gallon according to Gasbuddy.com. The highest is $4.67 at the BP station in Shelocta.
