It’s been a busy 24 hours for first responders in Indiana County.
The calls started at 6:06 in the morning on Sunday with reported structure fire on Herrman Street in Green Township that brought out Clymer, Commodore, Cherry Tree fire departments, the RIT Team and Citizens Ambulance.
At 9:11 AM, Plumville fire department was dispatched for a lines-down call on Route 85 in Washington Township.
At 4:50 PM, Clyde and Bolivar fire departments were called out for a tree on fire on Stone Ridge Road. Armagh and Black Lick were called in about 10 minutes later to assist.
Coral Graceton Volunteer Fire Department was also called out for a utility lines down call at 5:05 PM as a heavy thunderstorm rolled through the area. Also as part of that storm, Homer City firefighters were called out at 5:06 PM for a tree reported down on Old Route 119 in Canoe Township.
Cherryhill Township fire department was called out at 7:01 PM for a utility lines down call on Route 403 North in Cherryhill Township. Finally, Glen Campbell fire crews are out for the same type of call that was reported at 5:27 this morning. The tree brought down a utility pole and transformer near the intersection of Clark and Pearce roads in Montgomery Township.
