Indiana County 911 reports that three vehicle accidents occurred between Friday afternoon and this morning.
The first was reported around 5:09 p.m. Friday afternoon and it sent Indiana Fire Association, Citizens’ Ambulance and state police to a location along Route 119 South. Indiana fire officials say that an SUV was driving south on 119 when it struck a deer. The driver of the vehicle was checked by Citizens’ Ambulance personnel and fire crews set up traffic control which closed the southbound passing lane near the 422 cloverleaf.
No word on if the driver was taken to a hospital for injuries.
The next crash happened at 7:08 p.m. and it sent Creekside Fire Department to Indiana Road in Creekside Borough, and crews from Cherry Tree were dispatched to Ridge Road in Clearfield County for the final crash that happened around 12:17 this morning.
No additional details were released regarding those crashes.
