Some power outages were reported across Indiana County this morning.
Outages were reported around 8 o’clock this morning and affected more than 174 customers in White Township, Cherry Tree Borough and Glen Campbell Borough. In addition, 152 Penelec customers were without power in Montgomery Township at that time.
Todd Meyers of Penelec said an unknown animal damaged a transformer on a pole near Sanford Lane in Cherry Tree. He adds that crews are working to replace the transformer to get power restored, however he doesn’t say when they expect to get it restored.
