The 2022 class of the Hall of Fame featured J.L. “Red” Douds, Rose Reschini, Louis Tate, Jack Delaney and Mark Zilner. Lori Gradwell accepted on behalf of Douds, who said that he felt the secret to his success in business was his love of people.
Elaine Judge, accepting on behalf of Rose Reschini, said that Rose would be grateful for the award.
Jack Delaney said that he was honored to be inducted into the hall of fame.
Even though he enjoyed himself, Tate said he felt a bit uncomfortable before his speech, so he checked on a few tables near the lectern before starting his speech.
While Zilner appreciated the award, he was quick to credit his staff at Diamond Drug to helping him get to where he is today.
Jimmy Stewart was named the Chairman’s Selection for this year. One of Jimmy’s Daughters, Kelly Stewart Harcourt, was scheduled to be there to accept the honor, but a death in the family prevented her from coming out. In a video acceptance speech, she said that even though Jimmy became a big star, Indiana never really left him.
All six will be a part of the permanent Hall of Fame exhibit in the lobby of the KCAC.
