No one was injured in a structure fire that happened this morning in Center Township.
The fire sent crews from Aultman, Homer City, Coral-Graceton, Coal Run/McIntyre, and Indiana to 1107 Young Road at 11:50 this morning, according to Indiana County 9-1-1, and fire officials say that it turned out to be a cardboard box that fell onto a stove, causing smoke in the home. The home suffered no damage and there were no injuries reported.
Crews were able to put the fire out in a short period of time.
Other calls to Indiana County 9-1-1 include a vehicle accident that was reported shortly after 10 a.m. It sent Homer City fire crews, Citizens’ Ambulance and Pennsylvania State Police to Route 119 South in Center Township. No additional details are available at this time.
Marion Center fire crews were dispatched for an EMS assist around 11:20 a.m. along Manor St. and Reservoir Road in Marion Center Borough.
