After an extensive search, IUP has found its new Director of Financial Aid.
In a news release, IUP said that Tiffany Potts will serve as the university’s new Director of Financial aid after recently serving as the department’s associate director. Potts will take over for Ragan Griffin, who announced his retirement after holding the position since 2016.
IUP Vice President of Division and Enrollment Management Dr. Patricia McCarthy cited Potts’ technical knowledge and management skills in the release and said that her move into the director role will be a “seamless transition”. She also credited the retiring Griffin’s efforts in creating systems that are student-focused , while following all regulations on both a federal and state level.
Potts recently served as on the IUP Implementation Team for the PASSHE OneSIS project and she said in the release that she is grateful for this opportunity.
