A public hearing is scheduled for this Wednesday at 11 AM to discuss Indiana County’s Community Development Block Grant program in general, the county’s needs, and its performance under previously-funded block grants. The meeting will also focus on the required Three-Year Community Development Plan.
Indiana County will receive $285,376 in CDBG funds this program year. At least 70 percent of the funding must be used for activities that benefit low-to-moderate income residents, meaning projects funded by the program must benefit at least 51 percent low-to-moderate income residents in the service area.
The meeting Wednesday will be in the Commissioners Hearing Room at the courthouse.
