Work will begin tomorrow on a bridge replacement project on Route 954 near Smicksburg, and that road will be closed to traffic through July 5th.
PennDOT says the bridge, which lies between Windows Road and McCormick Road about seven-tenths of a mile north of Smicksburg, carries Route 954 over a tributary to the Little Mahoning Creek. The $1 million project will be completed at the end of September. After the road reopens on July 6th, daytime flagging operations will control traffic through the construction zone.
