An eventful start to the week continued for Indiana County first responders on Monday as six calls headlined Indiana County 9-1-1.
In addition to the fatal crash in Green Township, which kicked off calls for the day, a second vehicle crash was reported around 8:12 a.m. near the Ruby Tuesday in White Township. Indiana Fire Association was dispatched for that call.
Officials say no one was injured nor was there any entrapment. The road stayed open while crews worked on the scene.
At 2:57 p.m., a report of utility lines down saw Brush Valley fire crews dispatched to Route 259 in Brush Valley Township.
Two EMS assists were reported on Monday. Saltsburg and Tunnelton fire crews responded to the first assist around 6:22 p.m. That was reported along Bedick Road in Conemaugh Township. The second report rounded out the day’s calls as Homer City fire crews were dispatched to East Indiana St. in Homer City Borough around 8:40 p.m.
A pumping detail was also reported around 7:49 last night near Franklin St. in Clymer Borough. Clymer fire crews responded to that call.
