Blairsville Borough Police report that one man was arrested following a domestic disturbance Tuesday morning.
Officers say in a news release they were dispatched to a home along South Liberty St. shortly after 5:30 a.m. for reports of a domestic dispute between 51-year-old Keith Simms and his wife. When they arrived to the home, they found that she had abrasions and moderate bleeding on her left arm and she told police that she suffered the injuries after Simms grabbed and twisted her arm.
Simms was arrested and arraigned before Magisterial Judge Guy Haberl on charges of Simple Assault and Harassment. He is currently lodged in Indiana County Jail on $5,000 bond.
