Area first responders were busy on Wednesday as two vehicle accidents and two structure fires were reported to Indiana County 9-1-1.
The first call was for a structure fire in North Mahoning Township around 7:38 a.m. and fire crews from Perry Township, Punxsutawney-Lindsay, Marion Center and Rossiter, as well as Punxsutawney EMS, were dispatched to a house trailer on fire along Route 119 North near Strange Acres Lane and Juneau Road.
The second structure fire was reported around 5:01 p.m. and it saw fire crews from East Wheatfield, Clyde, Seward, Bolivar, New Florence and Fairfield Township dispatched along with Citizens Ambulance to Route 56 East.
No word is available yet on what caused the fire, if there were any injuries or how long crews were on scene for.
The first vehicle accident was reported after 2:30 yesterday afternoon and it saw Blairsville and Black Lick fire crews, along with Citizens Ambulance, dispatched to Route 22 West in Burrell Township.
The second accident rounded out calls for the day and it saw Indiana Fire Association and Citizens Ambulance dispatched to Warren Road in White Township around 5:40 p.m.
No further information is available on either crash.
A miscellaneous call dispatched Rossiter Fire Department to Dombs Hill Road in Canoe Township around 9:32 a.m., however no further details are available for that incident.
