Accuweather says that Indiana County will experience some severe weather this morning and later this afternoon.
Along with possible thunderstorms, flash flooding is expected throughout the day. In addition, strong winds are expected as well.
Meteorologist Matt Benz says that we could see anywhere from a quarter to a half inch of rain, but while that may not seem like much, there are other factors that could lead to possible flooding in Indiana County.
Benz reminds drivers that water could rise quickly on roadways and if anyone encounters flooded roadways, it is best to avoid them and take a detour.
