The final suspect in the Valentines Day 2020 shooting and robbery at rental properties near IUP was sentenced on Friday in Indiana County Court.
22-year-old Mamadi Saccoh of Philadelphia, had pleaded guilty last month to a charge of Robbery-Inflicting Serious Bodily Injury, and yesterday was ordered to serve three to six years in state prison. Saccoh was one of four people involved in the incident at two student rental properties in the 800 block of Wayne Avenue near IUP’s campus. Saccoh, along with Daron Reel, Jr., Nafis Harper and Samuel Wilson were charged in connection with the incidents. Police said Saccoh acted as the driver while the other three went to the first house, demanding drugs. When none were found, they went to a neighboring house for the same thing. At the second house, Reel shot one of the occupants. The victim survived the shooting.
Reel was already sentenced to 57 months to 10 years in state prison. Wilson and Harper were ordered to serve three to six years in prison in their sentencing hearings.
