At Tuesday night’s meeting, the Indiana Borough Council approved codes of conduct for two of the borough’s online platforms.
One code will be for the borough’s meetings held over video chat. According to Borough Council President Peter Broad, it makes sure that those who attend the meetings virtually are held to the same standards as those who attend meetings in person.
The other policy dealing with the borough’s Facebook page was modified during the meeting to allow borough staff to change Facebook posts to prohibit all comments on the borough’s posts. Communications and Grant Coordinator Kyle Mundry said that this will save the borough staff on some time and stress.
In other business, the borough approved the purchase of a 2020 Chevy Truck from Griffith Auto Sales using $60,572 from the Liquid Fuels fund.
