Penns Manor won the Indiana Optimist Basketball Tournament championship on Saturday, besting Indiana, 47-31. Tournament MVP Max Hill scored 20 points to lead all scorers. Mark Bailey added 8 in the low-scoring game. Evan Brocious and Michael Lubold combined to score 15 to lead Indiana.
In the Boys All-Star game, the North beat the South, 110-94. Grant Grimaldi scored 28, Noah Kohan 14, Brian Koches 12 and Caleb Whiteford 10 for the North. Grimaldi was their MVP. For the South, Matthew Marinchak had 18, TJ Lynn 15, and Vitalijs Petrof 11. Marinchak was the South MVP.
In the Girls All-Star game, the North was a 72-62 winner. They were led by Hope Cook with 24, Bethany Smith with 16, and Maddy Scalese with 12. Cook was the North MVP. The South was led by Megan Dumm with 15, Belle Pynos with 13, and Julia Potts with 11. Dumm was the South MVP.
