Gas prices over the last week across Pennsylvania and the nation continued to go down.
Triple-A reports that the national average price of a gallon of gas is now $4.18 a gallon. That’s a penny less than yesterday and a six cent decrease from last week at this time, but last month, gas prices were at $3.83 a gallon. Pennsylvania’s average is now $4.27 a gallon, which remains unchanged over the last 24 hours. Last week, gas prices were five cents higher at $4.32 a gallon, while last month, the average was $4.00 a gallon.
Indiana County’s average is now $4.27 a gallon. Among the neighboring counties, Armstrong County’s average is the lowest at $4.24. Westmoreland County’s average is $4.26 a gallon. Jefferson County ties with Indiana with a $4.27 a gallon average, while both Cambria and Clearfield Counties have $4.28 a gallon averages.
Gasbuddy.com reports that Indiana Borough, Clymer Borough and White Township gas prices this morning are $4.27 a gallon, while Homer City gas prices are $4.25 a gallon. Blairsville’s price is the lowest in the county at $4.23 a gallon.
