State police were summoned to the Indiana Senior High School yesterday after a threat was found written on a bathroom wall.
Indiana Area Superintendent Michael Vuckovich says the threat, which was reported to police at 11:52 AM, included racially insensitive comments. Safety Director Mike Travis and other administrators reviewed surveillance video and conducted an investigation that included interviews with several students, and then police were called as a precaution.
Both police and the district say there was no evidence that the threat was credible. Police have not said whether or not charges will be filed. They encourage anyone aware of suspicious activity to report it to the district and law enforcement and remind the public that anonymous reports may be made 24/7 with the Safe2SaySomething program (https://www.safe2saypa.org).
