Clymer Borough Council on Wednesday night discussed an issue with water runoff.
The issue is affecting the Sixth Street area, according to Clymer resident John Emerson. During the public comment section of the meeting, he said that the problem is due to leaves and branches.
Borough Council gave Emerson permission to approach Cherryhill Township Supervisors for their help as the water runoff starts in the township and ends in the borough.
In other business, council reminds everyone to keep their sidewalks clean in advance of the winter weather expected to come tomorrow. They ask people to check in on neighbors who may not be able keep their walks clean. Council members also said that those who do not keep their sidewalks clear could face fines.
