Pitt football coach Pat Narduzzi has signed former USC quarterback Kedon Slovis to a transfer letter of intent. The 6-3 205-pounder played 27 games in three seasons for the Trojans and was the Pac 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year and a 2020 All-Pac 12 first teamer.
Slovis was a Heisman triphy contender at the beginning of the season, but coach Clay Helton was fired two games in, and USC finished 4-8, with Slovis throwing eleven touchdown passes but eight interceptions in eight starts. He transferred after USC hired former Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley this offseason.
