With the exception of some after-Christmas limited special hunting, Pennsylvania’s deer season came to a close Saturday. The Game Commission has not released preliminary harvest data, as it did during bear season.
Small game comes back into season this week. Hunters may take squirrels, rabbits, pheasants, grouse, and quail from December 13th to the 24th, with some of those seasons resuming on the 27th.
