INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough police today reported that charges have been filed against a Johnstown woman for Driving Under the Influence after an incident in mid-November. Police say at 1:53 AM on November 21st, officers conducted a traffic stop for a summary violation in the 100 block of South 6th Street. Police found the driver, identified as 24-year-old Julianna Grace Gaborek was under the influence of alcohol to the point that it was unsafe for her to drive. She was taken into custody and taken to IRMC for a legal blood draw. She was then released to a sober adult. Charges were filed through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
CLYMER BOROUGH POLICE
A traffic stop turned into a drug bust in Clymer Borough on Friday. Clymer borough police said they charged 24-year-old Brett Andrew Beltz of Bridgeville with possession of a controlled substance in connection with the traffic stop on December 10th at 8:14 PM. The controlled substance was not identified by police. On top of the possession charge, Beltz also faces a charge of disorderly conduct.
BLAIRSVILLE BOROUGH POLICE
Police are on the lookout for a former Blairsville man as he stole a car from Blairsville and left it in Monroeville. Police say on December 3rd, 32-year-old Tyler Ballengee was able to drive away with a vehicle belonging to Marti Varrato of Blairsville. The vehicle was recovered at UPMC East in Monroeville. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to call Blairsville Borough Police at 724-459-7555.
